I’m actually thinking of going. Here’s my sketchy plan. Go to the Japanese Classic Car Show in Long Beach for a few hours in the morning and drive all the way to Irwindale around noon. I’m thinking I’ll get to Irwindale around 1 or 2pm and take a few hundred pictures!
I’m taking off for the Labor Day Weekend. I’ll be updating the site next week when I get back to Los Angeles! Oye, I’ll probably bring my laptop with me so I can post stuff on the site as I lay about watching TV and drinking some coke as I check out some more car shows on the Internet.
The Japanese Classic Car Show is coming up on September 12! Same place as last year – Long Beach! Hopefully, I wake up early this year so I can go. Last year, I was planning on going but I woke a bit past noon and I didn’t see much hope in arriving on time and getting a lot of pictures.

The Labor Day weekend has the San Diego Hi-Performance Expo in San Diego. It’s going to be at Qualcomm stadium so it’s centrally located. It’s like a swap meet and car show rolled into one! Not a lot of show girls here, but it’s a relaxing place to check out.

The day after the Tokyo Auto Salon ended, I woke up early to pack up my gear and stowed everything away in my luggage. Once done, I decided to walk around and take some pictures of Makuhari, the city surrounding Makuhari Messe convention center. The area surrounding Makuhari Messe is a business district. I did not see any clubs or any kind of night events other than Italian restaurants, McDonalds, Baskin Robins and some other places to eat. There’s also a Sega arcade in one of the small malls by the Plena building.
Finally finished day 3 of Tokyo Auto Salon! Here’s a few pictures I took at the car show held earlier this year.
Gotta say that I was dead tired by the time day 3 ended. One part of me was thinking, damn it’s finally done, I want to go home now, to another part of me thinking, damn, it’s finally done, I now have to go home… haha!
I won’t be going for 2011 Tokyo Auto Salon. Maybe I’ll go in 2012, because next year, I will probably go to the Bangkok Auto Show! Think going to the Bangkok Auto Show will be crazy fun.
I can’t sleep. So I was surfing some sites looking for car shows in southern California, well… anywhere that has a flyer I can post on the site. So I found Extreme Dimensions car show down in Fullerton on August 28 from 11AM to 3PM. This is a free car show! Free food! Free drinks! Free massages! Free raffle! There’s also a pretty good 30% discount on all items. Sounds sweet.
Keeping up with the international theme of my previous post, ImportFest will be hosting another modified tuner car show in Toronto, Canada on September 11 next month!
I was looking over the ticket prices to fly to Toronto, but it was a bit too expensive. For some odd reason, I thought it would be cheap. I was wrong.
It’s been almost a year since I went to the Tokyo Auto Salon in January! I’m finally posting day 3 album 1 of Tokyo Auto Salon. Better late than never right? I’ll be posting the rest of the pictures from day 3 this week, and the first and second days in the coming weeks.
Finally! I posted the last video in my YouTube channel of the VW Jamboree bikini contest. This is the 10 contestants that were picked from the original 22 bikini contestants. That hot Korean girl didn’t make the cut – boooo!
Pam Rodriguez did make the cut, and a whole set of blonds and brunettes on stage. You gotta watch the video, because the “Daddy’s girl” won the bikini contest crown. You’ll know what I mean, when I say “Daddy’s girl” when you watch the video…!
