So previous years, at this moment, I’d be getting my travel plans ready for my trip to Asia. Primarily for my Great Asia Car Show Tour to cover the Seoul Motor Show, Bangkok Motor Show, Manila Auto Show, Hot Import Nights Manila and Subic Auto Show within a 2 week period. Yea, all those car shows can be seen within 2 weeks, that’s why I called it “Great” Asia Car Show Tour. Normally, I’d give myself a few days at each country taking in the car shows and going on an eating binge and doing some exploration if my back and legs aren’t too cramped from the walking and carrying my camera equipment all day long.

Still at home and as I was just surfing the web, I found that the 2013 Seoul Motor Show has officially announced the days the event is open! The car show will still be at KINTEX just like 2 years ago from March 29 to April 7. When I was there previously, I wasn’t able to get a hotel near the convention center so I found a hotel in Seoul and took the subway. Pretty good ride and I think it was only a few dollars. I do remember that one of those ticket machines took my money and never gave me jack for it. Yea, there was a “help” button to talk to a live customer service person and I found out that talking to someone who didn’t speak English wasn’t going to work. Oh well. I tried another ticket machine and it was all good.

The theme for the 2013 Seoul Motor Show is “with Nature, for the Masses”. The event organizers are expecting over 1 million attendees. Nice!

Yea, the best thing from South Korea Japan isn’t Gangam style, Samsung or Hyundai Godzilla, Gundam or the Prius. What is it? You all know from the title! It’s freaking Hi-Chew! How would I describe it for the people who have never had it… well, it’s like Bubble gum that’s chewably delicious, and it melts in your mouth, so it’s like gum, but better, get it? It’s Hi-Chew! It comes in different flavors, and what I’m showing here is melon, because I like melons. Sometimes they come in pairs. Giggity.
