Arrived early, like around 11am to get in line early. I thought I was good until I saw the line. Damn. I was all the way in back… waiting. Once I got to the front I was told to get in the other line for people who bought pre-sale tickets. Ah shit. OK no problems. The new line was fairly fast, so it was good. It was a good sunny day so I felt pretty good all day.
As I walked in, started to take pictures and messing around with my camera settings. I hate taking pictures in the middle of the afternoon. So what do I do? I tend to go bright with my camera settings so that I don’t have to do any kind of image processing. If the picture looks dark, bye bye!
So yea, it was a good day. Walked around for about 5 hours at my first Wekfest! Hope to see them again. Maybe a night car show! Nice.
The food was actually good. I was surprised! Good portions and decent price.

Just woke up. This is what I get when I only had a few hours sleep on the plane from Bangkok yesterday. I was run running on fumes all day. Again, no dinner for me!
So I left the Manila International Auto Show last night and found a taxi. Something was up when he said that he was a new taxi driver and needed help finding Malate. I figured OK, no problem, take Roxas Blvd. Next thing I know, all I saw was buildings on both sides of the road. That’s not right. I should be seeing Manila Bay on my left.
“Stop the car.” Wanted to get the hell off the taxi immediately. Paid him 50 Pesos and jumped off. Asked a lady waiting for her bus if I was near Malate, and I think she thought I was stupid for even asking. She said no, and told me where I should be going – basically back from where I came from. Damn, I knew it, I was nowhere near. Walked to a lighted cross walk and haled a cab that was fortunately passing by.
