Is it already time for the Orange County International Auto Show? Yes it is. Starting on October 4 to the 7 at the Anaheim Convention Center, this event starts the BIG box international car shows in southern California. The big daddy of the regions international car shows will be Los Angeles that will be coming up around early December and then San Diego will be end of December.

The atmosphere at the OC Auto Show is geared towards the family who wants to have a wholesome environment to look at the latest car models where one can touch and feel before deciding to buy. The whole environment is just a nice place to hang out and relax.

Now in addition to looking and handling the cars on the floor or taking advantage of some of the hands on driving tests with new vehicles from Toyota, Honda, Cadillac, Chevy and more… on Saturday around 1pm, there’s going to be a bikini contest. Just so you all know! I think Friday night also has a contest of some kind with Hooter girls. Now this is in one small corner of the mega hall, so if you’re not interested, it will be easy to ignore.

Tickets for adults will be $10.

SpoCom gogo dancers! You gotta love them right? I was able to take a video of the first round below. What happened was that 2 gogo dancers would go on stage and well, start gogo dancing. I guess the judges and the crowd chose the winner. Now I like watching the girls gyrating and shit, but listen to the crowd comments. Now that’s hilarious! It’s always funny to hear what the crowd has to say – just listen!

Now I wasn’t able to see the finals because I was eating some chicken tacos and drinking a cola. I needed it because that was my first meal of the day! Well take a look at the gogo competition videos!

I arrived really early at SpoCom. Traffic was decent, just a few slow downs on the 405. Overall pretty good for a Saturday early afternoon drive down to Anaheim. First thing I did when I got into the big hall was to lean left and what do I see? The Import Fashion guys had a huge area with Team Emperor right next to them. As I look at the pics I took, I could tell I was adjusting my settings every few minutes, from ISO, F-stop, flash setting, and other camera settings. One bright spot was that the hall was lighted so that we were able to see in front of us!

I could tell I need to dial down the red in my camera settings. I see a strong tendency towards the red zone in vivid mode just like what I did with the natural mode. Oh yea, I just remembered, the day before SpoCom, I was looking over my equipment and decided to remove the ND filter from my telephoto lens – I wouldn’t need this filter for an indoor car show!

So I’m twisting the filter off the camera and BAM! The filter falls apart – a very thin ring spring out and the filter came loose. I tried to put it back together but nothing worked. Decided right there to go buy the more expensive B+W ND filter via Amazon. Been using B+W for years and I’ve had no troubles with this brand…. it was just that the other brand was half the cost, and that’s why I tried it out and it did have decent reviews. Oh well, I’ll stick with B+W filters for now on.

So yea, the Import Fashion guys had a DJ spinning and there import models like Amy Ames and Ela Pasion, in addition to a few more import models. Royal Flush had a collection of VIP at the car show. Impressive Wrap seems to be now coming to all the import tuner car shows. I started noticing them a few months ago – what they have are hot models like Ngan Vo. Yummy! Seriously, I think I remember when I first saw her a while back… kinda, but is it me or has she gotten hotter since she first came on the import tuner scene? Now I get a bulge when I see her (gigggity, oh yea), I don’t think I got one when I first saw her back when – hmmm, maybe I like her because of her soaring popularity. Interesting thought.

Now as I walked the crowded hall, I found the Savini booth and hmmmmm, that Asian girl in the black evening dress looks familiar. Shutup – take her picture. Damn I was staring. She does look familiar, shit that’s Evelyn Lin the porn star. Hey, I’ve done my research, right! I’ve taken her picture before at other events like Hot Import Nights LA 2011. Looks like Evelyn is available as a promotional model! I wonder if she is now transitioning herself into the import tuner industry. Maybe do a Leah Dizon and go to Japan and become an idol, hell Evelyn is young, she can do anything.
