Saturday! SpoCom finally opened its doors at the Anaheim Convention Center!

So there I was lying down on the floor and playing with my PS3 with my underwear on. A coke on the side, and my iPad on the other. Yea, this was living. Oh shit. I’ll be late for SpoCom.

Took a quick shower and ate some left over chicken from KFC I bought a few days ago. I was thinking of leaving 3 or even 4 hours before the doors opened, and get there really early for good parking. Didn’t happen.

I left about 2PM. Still good timing – should arrive in an hour. As I drove down the 405, traffic appeared. Then it hit me. I had no cash for the parking. Damn. Figured I’d just stop by somewhere and use an ATM. A hassle, but it’s doable.

Finally got on to the 22 towards Gardena and as I got off Hardbor Drive, I stopped at the gas station. Think it was a Chevron. Wanted $200, but the machine gave me an error… so I took $100. High Roller!

Below is my last report from my car show trip in Asia. The last stop being Subic Bay was cool. It was a chill place and everything was so close! I will be posting the images from the Manila Auto Show and Subic Bay Auto Show pictures in a few days! Well, read on!

April 9

Woke up. I knew I was tired when I got back from the car show last night. Yea, my flash batteries died and I was planning on leaving my gear in my hotel room and just hang out. 

Before that, I was going to take a little rest. Not a nap, but just lay down on my bed and rest. That’s when my eyes closed involuntarily and found myself awake a few minutes ago.

Checked my email. It’s beautiful when wifi access is available! I’ll try to upload some pictures from the Seoul Motor Show later on today.

The Subic Bay Auto Show was cool. Had some really good modified cars similar to what you would see in California. Hell, I don’t think the organizers were able to fit all the cars in the limited space they had for the car show! I saw additional modified cars parked outside the car show grounds. I’m thinking the Subic Bay Auto Show can double its size and I’m betting they would still be packed full of cars and a bigger audience next year! Plus get more sponsors!
