I didn’t take a lot of import model pictures at autocon. It reached over 100 degrees and I was more interested in staying quenched with some water, Gatorade or some free NOS! Shit yea! The majority of the model pictures were from the stage events where the women were giving away free stuff or squirting the crowd with water from the water gun – thanks Jeri Lee!

So yea, I missed out on a lot of the girls at the model lounge. I saw an improvement that the organizers can make about the model lounge. For one, increase the space around that area. Guys were practically swarming over the girls. Maybe split it into two, right across from each other.

By the time I took some time to walk over the model area late in the afternoon, most of them were gone. I checked out Import Fashion and they were having a mini party at their area, sweet and found out that import fashion will be hosting another car show this year. Good news!

Where should I start? From the beginning I guess. I arrived early when all the vendors and car clubs were just setting up shop. To think this was the first time I’ve been back to the Fairplex since… I don’t know, when was the last import tuner car show held here? I think it was 2009. I had a few hours before the crowds arrived so I started taking pictures. Noticed where the restrooms were and the locations of the water fountains – free water!

Taking pictures was the fun part. Saw a lot of familiar faces and car clubs. From LowNSlow, Team Arkan, Team Hate, Import Fashion, itsjdmyo and Savini. The first few hours I aimed to take car pictures only. It was easy because the import models hadn’t arrived yet.

Had to order some drinks because I was thirsty. Didn’t like the Mango shake – tasted weird. The food prices were just expensive. Should have tried to bring in some skittles or something as a snack.

The stage events timing seemed a bit off. That’s why I missed capturing some bikini and go-go events. Basically I got tired of waiting and went back to take more pictures on the floor. My bad luck that I was told they started a few minutes after I left!

Hot Import Nights – Nightshift was still good. I can’t wait for the next one to appear in southern California!
