This looks like a confirmation that there will be another Hot Import Nights in Manila by the local event organizer in the Philippines! They are asking if the local brothers want to see Dannie Riel. When I first saw her awhile back, my first impression was that she was Filipina, but then found out that she was Chinese/French. Damn. She looks good. So maybe she will be there or not, I think it’s too early to tell. The organizers are probably sending out feelers right now. There will probably be other posts with pictures of some more hot girls from Stateside that might appear, but if Dannie Riel is on the list, things seem to be looking good!

I had an interesting thought, maybe get Leah Dizon to show up? Isn’t still in Japan? If so, she can just fly down to the Philippines for the weekend and go back home to Tokyo once HIN is done. In addition, how about Misa Campo or Christine Mendoza? Two popular Filpina import models in California who might be interested in coming back to the Philippines to see friends and family!

It was the day of the Manila International Auto Show and there I was back at the World Trade Center, heading towards the fourth hall that showed the sweets – classics and modified cars. The first 3 halls contained the new cars from the major manufacturers which was in hall 1. Halls 2 and 3 were vendors – a lot of vendors! So yea, I ignored those first 3 halls and started with the cool cars that were all placed at the last hall, next to the cafeteria.

I slept great in my hotel overnight. I even woke up early to get the buffet breakfast included with my room. I even arrived more than an hour early to sit in front of the doors and just hangout at the front of the World Trade Center. The weather was fairly nice and I didn’t have anything else to do until HIN Manila, and I didn’t want to stay in my hotel room.

I thought of a majestic plan. I was going to focus on taking pictures of the cars before targeting the import models. To do that, I had to get there before the crowds inundated the car show floor. To do that, I had to be one of the very first people in the line. Ingenious. Damn I’m smart!

That early morning exuberance on my part was to be my undoing for the rest of the day at the car show.

As the doors opened and I was able to get into the hall and immediately taking car pictures at the right side of the hall, things were going as planned. There wasn’t a lot of people and taking pictures was going smoothly. I found out on the first day that because the crowd was packed, no one moved around photographers as we were taking pictures and unlike the import tuner car shows Stateside with their wide aisles. These aisles were very narrow. Something to improve upon for next year!
